weddings

Before I post my Christmas Holiday pictures, which is my favorite holiday of the year hands down. I thought I would show some of my wedding shots I have taken over the last year or so.

I love weddings. Most people dread them, I can't go to enough. I could not tell you how many I have been to in the last two or three years, but if I had to guess I would say no less then 7. When I got my Cannon Rebel Camera I realized how much I enjoyed snapping those beautiful moments. The camera makes it seem effortless. Here is just a few of my favs.

Starting with THE UNHEATED BARN WEDDING: Elspeth and Alex Hay.

The Hay's
Tire swinging flower girls
The sight
Then we were off to Jamaica. Let's just say it was a special cake eating, back-flipping wedding. Gui and Kristen.
Bums on the beach

Then I had one of my oldest friends. Katie Albert. She has so much style and is so creative, that her wedding showed every inch of her. It was one of the most simple but yet detailed weddings I have ever been to. Down to the 200 or so plates she found on ebay.
The amazing tables
Perfect Signs

The Stunning Bride
The Boltons
So although the pictures may seem simple, I like how they capture some of the moments I will remember. No matter what kind of camera you have, being able to show the bride and groom photos of their special day,is the best gift you can give.

HERE I GO...

There is rarely a time when I am not without my camera. When I look at someone or something all I can think about is how I have to capture THAT moment.

It's seeing the way people look at eachother, smile, or laugh so hard their head rolls back. A child's innocent or mischievous eyes. A wedding with so much detail it blows my mind. The way the ocean looks during a storm. The way the light changes over the bay when the seasons begins to change.

It's beginning to look alot like Winter (winter 2009)
My style is constantly changing. Maybe that is why I am always in aww of everyones else's style. I am not really sure how this blog will go, but for right now my thoughts and ideas are all about showcasing the people/places/things that keep me going.
My Pops. A salty poet. A spiritual man. He is the kind of dad that drives you nuts, but in a good way.
